I started this vid about 2 months ago. I was really tempted to make an angsty vid. I wanted to do it from Luke's POV, as he has the most angsty scenes and he's been through a hell of a lot. For those who haven't watched the show are going to think that Noah is a big fat cheater after watching this, but thats not whats going on (even if I made it appear like that :P). I wanted the focus to be on Luke's feelings during all the times that Noah put others first aside from Luke. Luke felt lonely and he can't help feeling jealous.
I'm so glad that they are happy in love, 'cause all the rough times they been through is still very difficult to watch. I promise next vid will be more light, fluffy, cute and happy to make up for this one.

The effects (How the hell did you get Luke to fade in and out like that, like he was disappearing? That must have taken some serious editing)
The transitions (I love how they went with the beats. When they were stuttering? That must have taken forever)
The flow (PERFECT. I thought it flowed so well. With so many clips put into one video, it still went smoothly)
The clips you used! (Luke and Noah's angsty, woobie faces KILL ME DEAD)
The editing (Blew my freaking mind. Like I said, it looked like it took forever to do. You have patience of a GOD. But they were flawless)
The last clip of Luke ripped my heart out. This entire video ripped my heart out.

Date: 2009-08-04 04:35 am (UTC)I'm glad you liked the coloring, as I didn't feel like it was better than the last one I did. (I love the "Gay boy" color!) But I always color with the moods of the vids.
The luke fading effect was a *beep* to do, but that is the marvelous works of Photoshop <3!
The last clip killed me too. That was actually the clip that made me post on lj a few days ago about how I wanted to go cry in a corner :(.

And really? They have a gay relationship on a soap? I reckon that's pretty awesome.... is it on in the daytime? Sorry... pretty naive with this one.
Anyway - great vid. It was fast paced and I got a real sense of the story and heart break. I really enjoyed your snappy editing. :)

When he cries, it's like you want to cry -> when he gets angry, it's like you want to get angry and when he's all happy, it makes you happy, lol.. You get my drift.
There's not really chance of me watching As the World Turns - 'cause with soaps there a million other stories going on and this would be the ONLY one that I would be interested in.
Oh Gosh! If it was that way, i'd probebly have never watched the show. I just started watching it in January of this year. Thank God that there is Youtube. Some fans post every single Luke/Noah Episode from day one to current eps. You can skip all the other stories!!! You could have a Luke/Noah marathon if you want, lol.

I think that Luke & Noah are possibly the first gay boy couple on a daytime soap in America. I think, but I'm not positive. But yeah, It is a Daytime Soap on CBS at 2:00 PM EST every day. They aren't on every day, but that's why I keep up with a community to tell me when they are on :D.

I've done this before with another character in another fandom, where everyone was pissed off with him, but I was like one of the rare people who actually felt really bad for him. Haha.
Anyways, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Noah shall be my next victim to show his angsty side :P.
